Sharlene and Lee - Witney Four Pillars Hotel, Oxfordshire

As a complete romantic, I love a good valentines day wedding! So photographing Sharlene and Lee's wedding at The Oxford Witney Hotel (Four Pillars) was a perfect way to spend the day.

Sharlene and Lee met through their work in golf, and with Lee being an epic Oxford United fan, the themes for their wedding were set!  The Chair Tailor did a great job with the room decorations and personalised chair covers, and check out Lee's fab yellow shoes!!!

The wedding was the perfect blend of fun and romance and I wish the couple the very best for their future.

Dani and Pete - Layer Marney Tower, Colchester

I was so excited several months ago when I received an email from one of my lovely photography students asking me to photograph his daughter wedding, and to top it off, the wedding would be taking place at a gorgeous venue in Colchester, Layer Marney Tower.

The day arrived and off I went, just a few days before Christmas, to Colchester to meet the Bride and Groom, Dani and Pete, for the first time.  And what an incredible couple, charming, witty and utterly beautiful.

The wedding was in a beautiful little church, next to the Towers, where Dani entered in a beautiful calf length dress.  The reception took place in the grand hall of the Towers, which was dec'd out in Christmas decorations and looked absolutely amazing.

Dani and Pete braved the cold for their wedding photos around the grounds of Layer Marney Tower, which looked perfect in a warm glow as the sun began to set early afternoon.

Adele and Andrew - Bay Tree Hotel, Burford

Adele and Andrew married at one of my favourite winter wedding venues, The Bay Tree Hotel in Burford.  It has perfect little snugs for guests to cosy up into during the cold day and a gorgeous garden, which is perfect for the wedding photos so that no one has to go far!

Adele and Andrew married in the main function room of the Bay Tree Hotel, which cast a beautiful December light on them as they said their vows. I found it hard to hold back the tears myself during the emotional service.

The couple looked absolutely stunning, as did their guests, and you could feel the love throughout the special day.

Candy and Nigel - St Mary’s Church, Upper Heyford and The Red Lion, Adderbury

Candy and Nigel married at St Mary's Church, Upper Heyford. Given their love for all things sheep related, we went to a nearby farm for their Bride and Groom photographs - the sheep certainly were curious!  After a short ride in their stunning car, they met their guests at the lovely, quaint, village pub - The Red Lion in Adderbury. It was the perfect setting for their rustic themed wedding.

The cake was made by the incredibly talented Leisa James of Oxford Cakeology (she's becoming quite popular on this blog!!)
