I met with Kathryn at their home in Islip, where they were having makeup by the incredible Kate Burt. Kathryn was pretty nervous when I arrived and her Mum was very emotional, so we had very random conversations to calm the nerves and take her mind off the day ahead.
It had been a dream of Kathryn's to walk to the church from her home for some time, so whilst some of the bridesmaids made use of the beautiful car, Kathryn made her way to the church on foot. The service commenced and the nerves were instantly gone!
After the ceremony we all made our way to Worton Park in Cassington for their reception. I've mentioned this venue before, but it's well worth another mention! It has a gorgeous, long, tree-lined driveway (picture perfect), a huge barn that will fit a very large wedding party, a beautiful garden (where you can marry outside) and a fantastic farm house for family to rent and stay in on the evening of the wedding. It really is a great venue!
Kathryn and Chris had thought of everything for the evening reception, down to flip flops for dancing to their amazing band! So it was set to be a wonderful night.
