Rosalind and Gavin - Cherwell Boat House, Summertown

Ros and Gavin married in the beautiful St Aloysius Church in central Oxford, a stunning church with sculptures surrounding the alter.  I tend to photograph from the back of this church to make the most of the beautiful setting, which also means I get a lovely perspective of the wedding.

Following the wedding I joined Ros and Gavin at Wolfson College in Oxford for some Bride and Groom photographs, which was a great location for some gorgeous garden shots and some time for the couple to spend time together before making our way to the venue next door, Cherwell Boat House, for their evening reception.

I love this venue, it's very cute for smaller weddings and has the option of using a conservatory area or the lower barn (when water levels are low enough).  Ros and Gavin made the most of both options, which was great for them as they had a large wedding party; Ros treated Gavin to the most amazing rap (well rehearsed during Bridal preparations), much to the shock and enjoyment of their guests. Then a reggae band took them into the wee hours of the morning.

Fiona and Steve - Saint Bartolomew's Church, Yarnton and Summertown Boathouse. September 2012

Fiona and Steve married in the cute and quaint Saint Bartholomew's Church in Yarnton, followed by their reception at The Boathouse in Summertown.

The whole day was absolutely perfect, with the most amazing 50's theme. Fiona looked gorgeous in her   knee-length 50's inspired dress and red hair, which matched Steve's blue suit perfectly.

The guests were treated to a yummy ice-cream outside the church, before heading off to the reception in a red double decker bus.

It was a photographers dream wedding, with both beautiful and unusual backdrops and a really lovely couple.
