Amy and Lee - The Manor, Weston on the Green

The Manor, in Weston on the Green, changed hands a few years ago and basically stopped doing weddings, however they've since had another change and are back to doing what they do best, and I was so excited that the first one I did after quite some time was of a lovely friend of mine, Amy, and her lovely now-husband, Lee.

The Manor is notoriously difficult to photograph in, with it's dark panelled walls and large windows that flood one end with light, however when you know then venue and the best places to shoot, you can get fantastic images. It's a beautiful venue, the gardens are lovely and perfect for garden games. And the little stone garden is the perfect area for Bride and Groom photographs.

Amy looks so beautiful and the both looked so incredibly happy. It was lovely to see two family units come together and I'm excited for their future.

Jon and Sarah - Weston Manor Hotel, Oxfordshire. August 2012

Jon and Sarah got married in August at the lovely St James' Church in Cowley and I knew it would be something special when a horse drawn carriage arrived to take Sarah to her wedding.

They had their reception at Weston Manor Hotel, at Weston on the Green. A beautiful manor house set in lovely landscaped gardens.  The venue was perfectly decorated to brighten up the dark wood panelled breakfast room with homemade signs and jams to give to the guests.

I really enjoyed photographing Jon, Sarah and their guests. They made me feel so welcome and were a pleasure to be around.
