Naomi and Damon, Methodist Church, Bicester - February 2013

Naomi and Damon got married on a very frosty February lunch time, in the Methodist Church in Bicester. It's a wedding I have been so excited to photograph as Naomi is probably one of my oldest friends from music school when we were wee nippers - we both played the Violin, rather well too! :)

They are the epitome of the perfect couple; sweet, loyal, loving and have a fantastic relationship with their two gorgeous kids. So I knew their wedding would be HUGE and full of friends and family who couldn't wait to see them get married; I wasn't wrong! Their perfect ceremony was followed by a blessing for their gorgeous girl, Annie-Rose, and followed by tea and cake in the church with all their well-wishers.

After whisking them away to Kirtlington for some Bride and Groom portraits, we joined a handful of their guests at The Bell in Hampton Poyle for a lovely intimate dinner. If anyone wants to go for a romantic meal, in a Bistro restaurant, I couldn't recommend The Bell enough!  They had decorated the room beautifully, with hand made jars of sweets (and not small jars at that!)

Naomi and Damon left their reception party until the following evening (a great way to extend your wedding!) where they were joined by over a hundred friends to party the night away... the R&R at Whittlebury Hall was much needed, I believe.

Congratulations on making your perfect little family official!

Sneak peaks of February and March shoots! (UPDATED!)

I've had such a mega-busy few months, what with tax returns, updating the new website and preparing for this years weddings that blogging has, once again, been put on the back burner. However, to keep my regular readers (and I thank you for being 'regular readers') up to date on my photographic life, here are a few sneaky peeks to keep you going...

David and Santana - Oxford Registry Office, Oxfordshire. December 2012

David and Santana married at Oxford Registry Office in a small and intimate ceremony, with just 12 of their nearest and dearest.

Santana looked stunning in her lace dress, complimenting David's smartness perfectly.  The whole time I was with them they were just all smiles and sweet looks towards one another, you could really feel them bouncing off one another!

They had a meal at The Living Room, Oxford Castle complex, which meant we were able to get some photographs around the castle complex... this made such a nice background for both their group shots and bride and groom portraits.

I enjoyed my time with these two immensely and wish them all the best for their future.

Luke and Viv - Cotswold Water Park Four Pillars Hotel, Gloucestershire. November 2012

Luke and Vivienne got married at the lovely Cotswold Water Park Four Pillars Hotel in Gloucestershire.

Viv was so relaxed when I arrived to photograph her in the morning, not a nerve in sight! I think the same could be said of the men, who were busy prepping the wedding breakfast room when Carol joined them.

The ceremony was short and beautiful, with the pair just grinning at each other throughout.  The speeches were hysterical and their fun booth proved to be very popular in the evening... it was such a fun wedding, relaxed and full of laughter.

We had a day of relentless torrential rain, which meant all of their photographs had to be taken inside, but with a gorgeous Christmas tree and pretty lighting, it was easy to get some lovely photographs of the couple.

Anna and Al - Kirtlington Village, Oxfordshire. November 2012

Anna and Al's wedding took place in Kirtlington Village, Oxfordshire. Starting at Saint Mary the Virgin Church, followed by their reception at Kirtlington Village hall.

It was another of those 'WOW' weddings!  The ceremony was beautiful, with tears throughout by many of the guests, but it was the reception that left me speechless!  They had turned an otherwise (I hate to say it) boring looking village hall, into this amazing and beautiful reception room that would fit any top-class venue!  Hand draped with silk, cakes by Anna's mum and sister, home made vegetable table decorations, autumn leaves and nuts... the effort that the family and friends put in to decorating the hall was incredible!

It obviously helps that the couple were so natural in front of the camera and incredibly beautiful too, they just look so so happy!
