May and June portraits

May and June was busy for both weddings and pre-wedding shoots!  Firstly Donna and Loz took the chance to have some studio style photographs taken... Loz 'claimed' to be camera shy! (I didn't see any evidence of that!!!)

Jon and Sarah then asked me to join them for some shots at Weston Manor Hotel, where they will be getting married later next month. It was a great chance for them to relax in front of the camera, as see where they might want their photographs taken on their big day!

I then met with James and Victoria at Blenheim Palace for some pre-wedding photographs. It was great for them... Victoria is a complete natural in front of the camera, but the session was great for James who needed some time to feel at ease (it definitely made things easier for their wedding day in July).

Matt and Catherine met me in Oxford City Centre for their shoot. They were getting married later in the year at Aloysius Church and Ashmolean Museum,  so the session gave us a chance to check the route we could take on their wedding day. And who could resist taking a photograph with Catherine's striking blue dress against the amazing red phone boxes... I love these photographs!

Dnyan and Martin were my next couple, with a pre-wedding shoot at the Rollright stones, near Chipping Norton. Again, where the couple will be marrying later in the year.  The poppies were out, which was brilliant with Dnyan's red jacket.  The couple were great to photograph, completely natural in front of the camera and posing like pro's.

Lastly, I photographed Michelle and Ben at Minster Lovell ruins... not only a place of great interest for history loving Michelle, but also where Ben proposed to her!  Such a cute couple to photograph, their shyness just adds that element of 'Awwww!' to the photographs.
