Pre-wedding photography, Thame

There are so many amazing wedding venues in Thame, including Notley Tythe Barn and Notley Abbey.

I'm going to be fortunate enough to be photographing at both venues over the coming year. So I was eager to get into Notley Abbey to explore and find the perfect location for this stunning couple.

Another Blenheim Pre-wedding Shoot

Oh I do love it at Blenheim.  It's so pretty and quiet (if you stay away from the crowds) and provides the perfect backdrop for some loved-up photographs!  And Matt and Kirsty are clearly loved up... they are super cute to photograph too, full of fun and playfulness.  I cannot wait to photograph their wedding later in the year.

Abingdon Gardens Pre-Wedding Photos

Another location I have spent a while at this year is Abingdon Abbey Gardens.  It's such a great location for portrait shoots, and I have a few weddings in the area in the coming months, so it's been great to scope out the area in preparation!

Blenheim pre-wedding shoots

It's been a busy couple of months with pre-wedding photo shoots; getting the images photographed in the lead up to the wedding rush so that my lovely couples have their signing boards.

This month I have mostly been around the Woodstock and Bladon area, so here are just a few from these shoots...

Stuart and Joanna Pre-wedding shoot, Worcester College, Oxford

I love photographing around the various Oxford University colleges, I feel very privileged to be able to do so and have photographed in pretty much all of them now.

So when Stuart and Joanna asked me to join them in Worcester College I jumped at the chance.  It was a lovely opportunity to meet with the couple again and we spoke about their progress in their wedding plans. I very much look forward to their wedding soon.

Chris and Amanda, Heythrop Park pre-wedding

Amanda and Chris are marrying later this year at Heythrop Park in Enstone, so we met at the venue on a cold winters day to take some photographs around the grounds. The couple were ever so patient given how cold it was, but feel far more relaxed for photos on the day.

Anne-Marie and Lawrence, pre-wedding shoot in Oxford

I met with Anne-Marie and Lawrence in Oxford City Centre a few weeks before their wedding to ease them into photography for their wedding day, though they were complete naturals and needed very little direction.  I'm looking forward to their wedding next week at St Aloysius Church and St Hilda's, two beautiful venues.

Emma and Noel - pre-wedding shoot in Oxford

I met Emma and Noel at a wedding last year, when Emma was Bridesmaid, so was excited to be asked to photograph their wedding later in the year at Heythrop Park.  Emma and Noel are super sweet, so it's going to be a fun wedding to photograph.

Minster Lovell Pre-wedding photos

Stef and Ben are marrying later in the year in Eynsham, so we went to Minster Lovell for a few photographs on a very moody looking day - I love the results from the photo in the corn field, it's soft, yet dramatic!

Amy and Anand - Heythrop Park pre-wedding photo shoot

Amy and Anand are getting married at Heythrop Park later in the year, so they travelled down from High Wycombe to have a pre-wedding photo shoot with me around the venue grounds. This was the perfect opportunity to speak with their lovely wedding coordinator, Michelle, and find out a little more about their wedding plans.  The couple are a natural in front of the camera, so are ready to feel at complete ease on the day.

Dan and Emma - Save the Date Shoot

Dan and Emma gave me a challenge - photograph and aerial shot of them for a save the date card.  Simple you think... well at 5'1 (and 3/4) and with only a 3-step ladder to hand, this was a tough one! It consisted of photographing them in several parts and then some photoshop wizardry to put the image together. The results below are a combination of around 14 images!  Not bad, hey!?
